Against the background of the Government of Jamaica’s Public Sector Modernisation Programme, effective and efficient management of frontline and operational level employees becomes increasing critical. These employees create the image and reputation of the organisation as they are the first line of contact to our customers and other stakeholders. It is also necessary that the persons to whom these employees report, possess the necessary competencies to provide effective management and supervision to facilitate performance that positively impacts the organisation and wider society.
It is against this background that MIND’s Certificate in Supervisory Management was designed to develop the competencies of existing and aspiring middle managers in both the public and private sectors.
