Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of public sector management and analysis. The fact that participants would have varied levels of experience and knowledge has been considered in its design and thus the course delivers an outline of public sector management, seeking to instigate an analysis of management in this sector. Managers who possess significant experience and skills and beginners who need the basic foundations will both benefit albeit along different lines. The varied groups and individuals will have a common understanding of the basic foundation that would provide the premise for advanced training, and improved practice in public sector management.
