Module Description
This module is designed to provide participants with a general understanding of the
underlining principles when taking Minutes and its importance to institutional memory.
Minutes constitute legal documents and as such, must be written accurately and
objectively to records the essence of a meeting. Therefore, it is important that the initial
notes are accurate and the subsequent finished document is well structured. This course
will provide minute takers with the requisite skills essential to capture accurate and
concise information for later organistional use. Organisations can be confident that the
information captured by minute takers are reliable source of institutional memory.
