This course offers a practical approach to the development of the interpersonal skills of participants, and allows them to explore the effects of self-concept, as well as the dynamics of personal and professional relationships. It seeks to improve their ability to interact successfully with individuals and groups, resolve conflict and be a high performing team player through a process of self-discovery and increased self-awareness.

This course is intended for persons with little or no prior knowledge of Spanish. Therefore, it is aimed at developing basic communicative competence in the target language by equipping participants with both the receptive skills (listening, reading) and the productive skills (speaking, writing ) to function in common real-life situations where the target language is used. It is also expected to serve as a foundation course for continued studies in the language.
This course aims to develop in participants the ability and desire to use Spanish effectively for purposes of practical communication in basic everyday situations.

The course is designed to enable participants to acquire an understanding of the basic concepts of Mathematics. It will help participants to develop critical thinking skills, as well as skills in computation and the manipulation of formulae. The course is also designed to expose participants to some of the concepts and techniques that are required to study mathematical models in business, economics and social sciences.
