Description
The goal of this course is to provide and sensitise persons involved in the procurement process with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies needed to perform the critical roles and responsibilities that is entrusted to them. The information covered in this course will include key procurement principles, practices, methods and processes required to evaluate and award tender proposals. In building this knowledge, participants will facilitate and ensure compliance with procurement laws, regulations and procedures governing the procurement process and develop a culture of transparency and fairness in the awarding of government contracts.
This course is design to provide an overview of the nature of stress and selected approaches to its management within the organisation. The course is highly practical by design and seeks to develop participants’ understanding in identifying the "zone of regulation" that they are in and on the two (2) types of stress. Participants will develop an understanding on the underlying factors associated with stress both at the individual and organizational levels. This course will also give participants the opportunity to process their own level of stress and employ the stress management strategies outlined.
