The Administrative Management Level 1 – Foundational Level course is the entry-level programme within the Administrative Management Professional and Learning Pathway and is designed to strengthen and standardise the foundational competencies required for effective administrative practice within the Government of Jamaica and the wider public sector. The course supports the professional development of administrative personnel by providing structured competency-based learning aligned with the Government of Jamaica Competency Framework, the Public Sector Learning Framework (PSLF), and evolving public sector service standards.
The programme focuses on developing the core technical, professional, behavioural, and service
oriented competencies required to perform administrative and operational support functions
efficiently and effectively.
